Parks & Recreation

Purpose
The purpose of the Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of our community by promoting diversified leisure activities and high quality parks and facilities.

Whether it be leagues, lessons, or leisure, the department strives to make your recreation experiences memorable.

Responsibilities
The Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is funded by a Park levee and Park / Storm Water sales tax.

The department oversees over 300 acres of park land including:
  • Seven baseball / softball fields
  • Football field
  • Soccer Complex
  • MoPac Trail (Katy Trail extension)
  • Fitness Park 
  • City Lake
  • City Park
  • Veterans Memorial
  • Children's Memorial
  • Swimming pool
  • Cass County Fair Grounds
  • Stone Creek Nature Trail
